sheldon seems asexual on the show wonder if jim is too?

I agree. I'm sure Jim Parsons has healthy social skills (how can an actor NOT be sociable?) and his ability to play Sheldon shows how talented he is. Besides, have you seen his other work? Very, very different from Sheldon.

so far i have only seen a few movies he is in. "10 items or less" he was great! that 'soundrel' movie i watched to see him but he didn't get to say anything. i never saw "judging amy". i have requests in for "gardener of eden" and i saw "garden state" a long time ago. is he the same jim parsons that did the heavy metal movies. god i hope so how versatile is that???? it said jim parsons and david carruthers created those movies. is it him?

"10 items or less" he has a funny speaking part. he's also in the movies that i mentioned and one called "on the road with judas" but i ma not sure how much he is in them yet.

Sheldon has stated that he does not think love is reliable and believes that arranged marriages may be more likely to succeed. Maybe that's why he is not interested in the girls around him; he just doesn't believe in love.

yes that's right. love cannot be measured and is not logical! It cannot be proved through mathematical calculation. yes this makes sense that Sheldon would not believe in love so intangible.

Okay so I worked with Jim Parsons for 2 or 3 years before he made it in film. He started in the theater. He is such a nice down to earth person. He has been one of my favorite people to work with in all my years of dressing actors. I am so happy for him and his career. It has been very exciting watching it take off. He puts everything into developing his characters and making them the best he possibly can. And honestly, there is definitely a little bit of Jim in Sheldon. He is not so over the top and nerdy, but he is hysterical and has a great dry humor about him. He can be serious and a little quirky too. That's what makes him so charming though. And no he does not have Asp-burgers or Autism, but it is probably a weird complement to him that you think so. He is so good at what he does that you can't even tell if it is real or acting. But I guarantee you it's acting. He would have us all in stitches at work because he was so funny and so much fun to be with. Anyway this is by far my favorite show on TV and I watch a lot of TV. The writing is amazing and the acting can support it. I hope it lasts for a very long time. Tell everyone you know to watch it and help Jim's career blow up even more! Yeah Jim! I am so proud of you and can't wait to work together again. Keep up the great work! Now if only this strike would end so life can get back to normal that would be great! Oh and my favorite Sheldon moment was when he saw the tie on the doorknob and asked Penny to come over to explain what it meant. The when she left, he called Leonard and let him know, "Message received." He is hilarious. Oh and for sure not Asexual either. Another thing they call acting. Something he has a masters degree in by the way!

thank you so much for this ashley. I think I love him as as you and i don't eve know him. I have research every thing he has done on film. he is great in everything i have seen. I am dying to know fi he is gay or not. Is it ok to wonder that? oh well i would love to see him as a heavy metal stoner or surfer laid back dude just for fun. has he done anything completely different that you know of? thatnk again. I can;t wait to see much more of sheldon and jim parsons!

Thank you for taking your time to answer some silly "fan questions" here. Anyway, I never liked that the character of Sheldon was reduced to a medical term, but many people, some even in this group rely to it. And they open up, which is great. By the way, it's Ass - burgers! ;)
