Love the show it is hella sweet! I have seen all the episodes they are great. I also watch the reruns cant get enough. Its been a while sense there has been a show like on tv that i really like and cant wait till it is on again. Woo Mondays are my favorite Tv night now. So please bring the Big Bang Theory back!!! The people have spoken about this show BRING IT BACK WE LOVE IT
I guess you don't follow the ratings, but this is the one of the highest rated new shows of the season. There is no way in the world the show will be canceled. It was on its way to becoming the next hit when the writers strike hit. The show will definitely be back. See this :
Here see this news from CBS President, Les Moonves on the show being renewed for next season :
CBS to Air Showtime's Dexter; Will Renew Big Bang, Moonlight

DECEMBER 04, 2007 -
Look for CBS to begin airing sister pay cable network Showtime hit drama Dexter sometime in midseason if the Writers Strike is prolonged, and for the broadcast network to bring back freshman sitcom The Big Bang Theory and first-year drama Moonlight next season.
Speaking at the 35th annual UBS Global Media & Communications Conference in New York today (Dec. 4), Les Moonves, CBS Corp. president & CEO, mentioned the two freshman shows as likely to return next season, and that CBS would be looking to air some Showtime shows to supplement its schedule should the Writers Guild strike continue and effect the return of first-run shows on the network.
New Fall Shows
We put on five new shows, and I think two [ Moonlight and Big Bang Theory] will be back a year from now, assuming the strike is over by then, which we assume it will be. I think that's pretty good.

I LOVE THIS SHOW! It has such a new spin for an ensemble cast...I just love it and find myself laughing out loud at all the great storylines...especially Sheldon's! However, I can't leave Leonard out...I loved Galecki from "Roseanne" and now love him even more in this show! I WANT MORE EPISODES NOW...hee,hee! Please, please, please bring more episodes soon!
i definitely hope the writers strike ends soon. Nothing is more frustrating than finding a great show and not being able to see new episodes. Its just wrong!
yea, definitely keep me posted, because this is the only show i took the initiative to make sure i was at a TV on Mondays at 8. If anyone hears about a return date KEEP ME POSTED!
Has anyone noticed that there is a new show starting in February in Big Bang's time slot? I guess this means the end of the show. You think they would have given it a second chance due to the writers strike. Any ideas on how to get CBS to change their mind? It worked with Jericho!!!
Kennedy, relax the show is simply going on hiatus until the writers strike is over, because they show eached of the 8 episodes two and some three times already. CBS has already said the show will be brought back after the writers strike, and it will be renewed next season even if the writers strike lasts the rest of the season.
Rest assured, the ratings for this show are excellent. It will definitely be back when the writers strike is over.
I hope you are right. I get so nervous when I find a show I like and something like this happens. I fell in love with Jericho and look what happened! Of course, several tons of nuts helped bring that one back! My whole apartment building quotes from Big Bang Theory all the time. Our favorite is "That's how we rock in the shire." Fingers crossed that Everything is fine. Do we have an actual press release with CBS saying that the show is coming back?
i tried to watch online but i always see the same three episodes. what am i doing wrong? there is an apisode right now i can't even open. and the others i have see countless times. where doi go to see more? how many come out in your screen?
Rest assured the show will be back with new episodes when the writers strike is over. It was doing terrific in the ratings. It got more viewers for a repeat the past two weeks than most sitcoms get for new episodes. The show will return. We just don't know when.
